U.S. Marshals Agent Arrested In Burbank For Brandishing Gun

BURBANK (CBSLA.com) — An agent with the U.S. Marshals Service was arrested this week in downtown Burbank after reportedly brandishing a handgun at another man while intoxicated.

Andrew LeConte, 27, was allegedly holding his gun when he approached the other man early Wednesday in the 300 block of East Santa Anita Avenue and told him to follow him, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The man, who was working on his SUV, followed LeConte for a short distance before running away, the newspaper reported.

Police responded to the area and arrested LeConte on suspicion of kidnapping and brandishing a firearm. He was released on $100,000 bail a few hours later, according to the sheriff's department.
