2 Suspects Wanted In Altadena Home Invasion

ALTADENA (CBSLA.com) —  Deputies Friday were searching for two home invasion suspects who targeted a residence in the San Gabriel Valley.

The break-in happened around 10:40 p.m. Thursday on Figueroa Drive near Lincoln Avenue in Altadena, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.

Deputies said the two suspects knocked on the front door and asked for someone who does not live at the home.

A female victim tried to close the door, but the suspects pushed it open and forced their way into the house.

One suspect was wearing a plastic mask and was armed with a handgun, authorities said.

The woman and her grandparents ran to different parts of the home, hid and called 911.

Once the family emerged from their hiding places, the suspects were gone and they didn't find any property missing.

No injuries were reported.

No arrests were made.
