Brush Fire Scorches At Least 10 Acres In Corona

CORONA (CBSLA.com) — Crews were called to a brush fire Thursday evening in Corona.

The blaze was reported shortly before 4:30 p.m. in the 19300 block of Quebec Avenue, according to CAL FIRE in Riverside.

The flames already burned through an estimated 10 to 15 acres.

A water-dropping helicopter was being utilized to help knock the fire down.

California Highway Patrol had road closures in place at Minnesota Road and Temescal.
