Pursuit Suspect Collides With Vehicle Near Downtown LA

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A police pursuit ended Friday afternoon in a two-car crash in downtown Los Angeles.

The crash involving a pickup occurred on Alameda and 25th streets after 4 p.m.

According to Sky9's Stu Mundel, Los Angeles police were in pursuit of the truck, which crashed into a Kia sedan.

Several people were inside the Kia and were being questioned by first-responders.

Meanwhile, the driver of the truck was arrested on undisclosed charges. He was being treated at the scene but was expected to be taken to a hospital for treatment.
