Santa Paula Man Arrested In Killing Of Pregnant Girlfriend
SANTA PAULA (CBSLA.com) — Police in Santa Paula on Thursday announced the arrest of an 18-year-old man in the death of his pregnant girlfriend in March.
Police said they arrested Antonio Magana with the assistance of investigators with the Ventura County District Attorney's Office.
Ashley Moran, 21, was found in Obregon Park on the morning of March 15.
Detectives said she was killing sometime the previous evening.
Magana is a known Santa Paula gang member, authorities said.
He was taken into custody Thursday afternoon without incident.
Police did not give a motive for the murder.
