Tree Topples On House, Downs Power Lines In El Monte
EL MONTE (CBSLA.com) — Crews were dispatched Wednesday to a residential area of El Monte after a fallen tree took down some power lines before landing on a home.
Los Angeles County Fire was notified at 2:13 p.m. of the toppled tree in the 3000 block of North Penn Mar Avenue.
Southern California Edison de-energized the wires and dispatched a repair crew.
No one was injured.
Officials have not yet estimated the property damage.
