MIRA LOMA (CBSLA.com) — A 2-year-old girl reportedly drowned in a family swimming pool Saturday in Riverside County.

Firefighters and police were dispatched at 6:49 p.m. to the home, where family members found the girl floating in the backyard pool, the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office reported.

Officials haven’t disclosed how long the girl may have been in the water.

Kimberly Gonzalez, of Riverside, was taken to Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Ontario, where she was pronounced dead.

The Coroner’s Office didn’t say whether anyone else was home at the time.
