Jurupa Valley Man Arrested On Several Child Molestation Charges

JURUPA VALLEY (CBSLA.com) — A 49-year-old Jurupa Valley man Wednesday faced several child molestation charges, police said.

Samuel Hernandez was arrested Tuesday after an investigation was launched earlier that day when officers were called to a home in the 6400 block of Rathke Drive regarding a recent child molestation allegation.

"Detectives determined that the suspect had recently sexually molested the child," Sgt. Justin Rowan said. "During the investigation, investigators also identified and interviewed a second victim who was sexually molested by the suspect several years ago."

Hernandez was arrested and is being held on $75,000 bail at the Robert Presley Detention Center.

He is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday morning.
