2 Hospitalized In Party Bus Stabbings Involving Broken Bottles

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com)   — Authorities said two people were hurt in a stabbing incident on a party bus in Hancock Pak early Sunday.

Police said they were looking for several suspects.

The two stabbing victims were cut with broken bottles, officials said.

The victims both suffered deep cuts and lacerations but none of the injuries is life-threatening.

Authorities said a fight broke out on the privately rented party bus with about 20 people on board.

The fight started just after 3 a.m. said Los Angeles police Lt. Lonnie Tiano.

The driver pulled the bus over in the 300 block of N. La Brea Avenue where passengers got off and continued the fight in the street, Tiano said.

After the bus got going again, it was pulled over by police officers several miles down La Brea in Inglewood, Tiano said.

An unknown number of suspects did not get back on the bus after it pulled over, he said.
