Man Wanted In 'Peeping' In LA Park Restroom

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Thursday were looking for a man they allege took photos or video of a boy as he undressed in a public restroom.

The incident took place around noon June 4 at City Terrace Park in the 1000 block of North Hazard Avenue in East Los Angeles.

The boy noticed a man holding an electronic device and taking pictures or recording him as he undressed, the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department Parks Bureau said.

The man then left the bathroom and drove away in a gold mid-2000s Toyota Camry.

He was described as Hispanic, 25 to 35 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, and 200 pounds. He was wearing prescription glasses, a blue shirt and gray shorts.

The man was carrying a blue backpack with a red stripe.

Anyone with information about the crime was asked to call detective Art Flores at (562)254-8488.
