SANTA ANA (CBSLA.com) — More than a dozen people were injured in a bus crash in Santa Ana Tuesday night.

The Orange County Fire Department and Santa Ana police responded to the intersection of Fairview and 17th following a collision involving a bus, a car and a truck carrying a trailer.

The bus was traveling northbound on 17th when a vehicle, heading northbound on Fairview, ran a red light and hit the bus, officials said.

The bus was then pushed into the truck.

Shots from SKY2 show the truck overturned; the bus ended up on the sidewalk on the southbound lanes of Fairview; and the car landed on its side with severe front-end damage.

O.C. Fire transported 15 victims to the hospital, including the drivers of the bus and car and 13 bus passengers. All of the injuries were listed as non-life threatening.

Santa Ana police are investigating the cause of the crash.
