STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Cindy Caponera has just penned a book that offers a comedic take on her growing up on the Southside of Chicago and how that shaped her as an actress, writer and producer.
In “I Triggered Her Bully,” the Second City alum uses humor in a collection of essays that reveal poignant truths about insecurity, childhood trauma and dysfunctional families.
The critically-acclaimed performer and writer visited KCAL9 Studios Saturday to discuss the book, which “looks both outward and inward with fearless honesty and wicked wit.”
