Boy, 7, Reported Missing In Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) —   Authorities are asking the public to be on the lookout for a missing 7-year-old boy.

Eduardo Abel Lopez's family said the boy walked away from a temporary foster care facility sometime Friday.

Lopez was last seen in the daycare room around 2:35 p.m., officials said.

The facility is located in the 1300 block of East 103rd Street in Los Angeles.

Police believe the boy left the facility on his own in search of his biological mother.

The missing boy is described as approximately 3 feet 3 inches tall and about 65 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

When last seen, Lopez was wearing a black t-shirt with the image of a wolf on the front. He was also wearing blue jeans -- torn at the knee -- as well as tennis shoes. He's also believed to be carrying a Los Angeles Dodgers backpack.
