RIVERSIDE (CBSLA.com)  —  Officials said they received a 911 call from a citizen who told them they saw what looked like a body, or remains of a dead animal, near train tracks on Panorama Road in Riverside on Sunday.

The call came in just after midnight.

Officials did say the body was not struck by a train.

An autopsy is pending to determine the victim's identity and cause of death.
