West Hollywood Bakery Offers Tasty Parisian Sweets

WEST HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — Looking for treats for Easter or Passover? A new bakery in West Hollywood is offering some original Parisian sweets.

Pascal Achcar recently opened Bo Nuage, a chic French bakery nestled on Melrose Avenue, with his wife.

They offer 15 flavors of what they like to call "Cloud Cakes," which are made of crisp meringue and whipped cream that doesn't have dairy.

"This is made of almond, soy and pure chocolate cacao. No butter, no milk," Achcar said.

CBS2's Suzanne Marques helped make the bakery's Easter special—chocolate whipped cream piped between a meringue sandwich, which was filled with caramel and covered with yellow chocolate curls and marshmallows.

Achcar's favorite, however, is the passion fruit.

"I feel like I'm on the beach in the sand," he said.
