Low Visibility Prompts Ground Stop For Arriving Flights At LAX

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A ground stop was in effect for a short time Tuesday due to low visibility for flights arriving at Los Angeles International Airport.

The stop went into effect around 10:30 a.m., officials said.

It was lifted approximately 30 minutes later.

Outbound flights were not impacted.

Passengers were advised to check with their airlines for flight status updates.
