Several Cars Damaged In Hawthorne Carport Fire
HAWTHORNE (CBSLA.com) — Several cars were damaged early Tuesday morning in a South Bay carport fire.
The fire was reported around 12:30 a.m. at an apartment complex on West 142nd Street, the Los Angeles County Fire Department said.
It was unclear if the residential building was damaged.
The cause of the fire was under investigation by an arson team.
Officials estimate nine cars were destroyed.
