NACA Back In Southland Offering Free Loan Modification Assistance

ONTARIO (CBSLA.com) — There's still hope for homeowners looking to get a loan modification on their mortgage.

The Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America (NACA) is back in the Southland and ready to help out residents in the Inland Empire.

NACA will be offering their free services Thursday through Monday, April 3-7, at the Ontario Convention Center.

The "American Dream Tour" brings together banks, lenders and struggling homeowners so they can cut through the red tape and get back on track.

Lines are typically long so organizers suggest arriving early.

But it's worth the wait: NACA reports they save the average participant save between $500 and $1,000 off their monthly mortgage payment. Many receive interest rate reductions as low as two percent. Home buyers can also qualify for NACA's fixed-rate mortgage with no down payment, no closing costs and no points or fees.

In the past four years, NACA has helped more than 250,000 people get loan modifications so they can keep their homes.
