Make Game-Day Nachos With Tips From The Better Chip!

STUDIO CITY ( – Andrea Brule from The Better Chip visited KCAL9 Thursday to share tips for spicing up game-day dips just in time for March Madness!

The Better Chip items are available at grocery stores. The Jalapeño, Spinach & Kale, Beet and Chipotle flavors are non-GMO project verified and Fresh Corn is presently undergoing evaluation to obtain non-GMO project verification.

All five flavors are certified gluten-free, made in a completely nut-free environment and made on a line dedicated to only tortilla products.

The following is a recipe for Game Day nachos!

– 2.5 lbs. Pork loin, trimmed
– 2 tsp. red wine vinegar
– ½ tsp. salt
– ½ tsp. pepper
– 1 tsp. garlic powder
– 1 cup of your favorite barbeque sauce
– 1 cup grated white cheddar cheese
– 2 6.4oz. bags The Better Chip® Fresh Corn
Nacho toppings: sour cream, sliced jalapeños, etc.


Place the pork loin in a slow cooker and top with vinegar, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Cook on high for six hours, checking the meat without opening the slow cooker occasionally. Pork is ready when it easily yields to a fork and is easily “pulled.” Transfer pulled pork out of the slow cooker and mix pulled pork with barbeque sauce in a large bowl.
