1 Suspect Sought, 2 In Custody Following OC Robbery And Pursuit
GARDEN GROVE (CBSLA.com) — One robbery suspect was on the loose and two others were in custody Thursday after a high-speed chase in Orange County.
The three suspects robbed a Mexican restaurant around 2 a.m.in Santa Ana, police said.
The men then led authorities on a 30-minute pursuit that spanned several cities before ending at West Street and Lampson Avenue in Garden Grove when the suspects' pickup truck crashed into a pole.
At that time, officers fired their weapons at the suspects, however, no one was shot.
The driver exited the vehicle and fled on foot. The two remaining suspects were taken into custody at the scene.
Three weapons, including a shotgun, were recovered.
No one was injured in the incident.
