Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (March 2)

STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — Aside from a few lingering showers ... things are settling down this evening.

A ridge of high pressure is going to start building into the region tomorrow. However, it is a dirty ridge of high pressure. That just means clouds will overrun the ridge.

That will give us partly to mostly cloudy skies for Monday and Tuesday.

However, there will be a nice warming trend through Wednesday.

Temperatures will reach into the upper 60s tomorrow and then into the 70s by Tuesday.

We could even see some 80s by the middle of the week for our inland communities.

There is a front pushing through to the north on Thursday, but it looks like we have Santa Ana wind setting up for next weekend. So it appears we had winter for 3 days ... now it's back to the warm dry weather we've been experiencing.

Basin - mid to upper 60s;
Beaches - mid to upper 60s;
Valleys - mid to upper 60s;
Deserts - mid 60s;
Mountains - upper 40s;
