WILMINGTON (CBSLA.com) — Four people reportedly were shot early Saturday at a family party in South LA.

Around 40 people were celebrating an 18-year-old’s birthday in the backyard.

Several people were standing in front of the home when someone drove by and opened fire, Piago said.

Three men and a woman were injured. One person was transported to a hospital with critical injuries and three others were treated for non-life threatening wounds.

Officers at the scene say the suspect drove away in a dark-colored BMW.

Detectives asked anyone with information about the attack to call them at (310) 726-7900.
