Fraud Suspect Wanted In Long Beach ATM Scam

LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Detectives Wednesday sought the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted for bilking victims out of approximately $47,000.

The crimes began in September 2011, according to Long Beach police.

"The suspect may be involved in an ATM scam, depositing fraudulent checks into unsuspecting victim's accounts then utilizing a stolen ATM card to withdraw the funds before the check is cleared and found to be fictitious," officials said.
