Mark Mincolla, Ph.D. stopped by KCAL9 Monday to share tips from his book “Whole Health: A Holistic Approach to Healing for the 21st Century” on how balance the body, mind and spirit.

Tips for balancing body, mind and spirit

Body:  Reduce your intake of inflammatory foods: dairy, yolks, red meats and peanuts. They produce inflammation, which generates 72 percent of all disease.

Mind: Take four minutes twice daily to recite a powerful, positive mantra such as, “I am the master of an exceptional life.” This has been shown to shift the brain into its positive, self-empowered vectors in 16 weeks.

Spirit: Start your day performing stimulating acupressure on your spirit acupuncture points. These time-tested Chinese acupuncture points have proven helpful for the spirit for thousands of years.
