STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — The Counter visited the CBS2 This Morning studios for Foodie Friday this week!
The Counter is a twist on the classic burger joint and allows customers to build their own burger, using fresh ingredients, and over 300-thousand combinations.
They claim to have a burger for every diet, including some that are part of some of the biggest fad diets of 2014.
Fad Diet Burger Options:
o Paleo (the caveman diet) – organic bison, organic mixed greens, cucumber, red onions, carrot strings, olive oil, salt and pepper
o Vegan – 2/3 vegan/veggie burger, whole wheat bun, red onion, spinach, roasted red peppers, sprouts, dijon
o Gluten-free – Cranberry & Avocado Turkey Burger topped with sharp provolone, dried cranberries, avocado, carrot strings, organic mixed greens, scallions and horseradish mayo on a gluten-free bun
o Low Carb, High Protein – Burger, bacon, egg yolk, green onions, spinach bowl
