LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — An Antelope Valley man has been accused of producing and emailing sexually explicit pictures of a 3-month-old relative to an undercover investigator in England.

Robert Dale Schrader, 33, of Littlerock was arrested Monday, according to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. He was charged with two counts of production of child pornography and ordered to remain in federal custody pending a Friday bond hearing.

The investigation into Schrader started in late January after British authorities contacted ICE’s Homeland Security Investigations agent in London about a person who had used a Yahoo email account to send numerous inappropriate pictures of a little boy to an undercover officer in the country, the complaint stated.

GPS data embedded in the images, which were taken with an iPhone, revealed that the pictures were taken near the suspect’s home in Littlerock, officials said.

Investigators then executed a federal search warrant at the man’s home, where they found the infant in question.

Authorities also found kid’s clothing and computer equipment.

The alleged victim was turned over to the Department of Children and Family Services.

“This is one of the youngest, if not the youngest, child pornography victims ever identified in the Los Angeles area,” said Claude Arnold, the special agent in charge of ICE’s Homeland Security Investigations Los Angeles. “Fortunately, remarkable international cooperation and very astute detective work enabled us to locate this infant and rescue him just hours after receiving the initial lead.”

KCAL9’s Suraya Fadel reports that the nine-page complaint states that the suspect “got caught up in the moment for the purpose of sexual gratification. He would communicate with people online sexually abusing children…and stated that it was just a game.”

The complaint also revealed an email, which said, “I have a 3mo boy. Do u like boy? If so, Tell me what u want me to do to him.”

Schrader faces a minimum of 15 years in prison and a possible maximum sentence of 60 years if he’s convicted of both counts.
