Heavy Fog, Low Visibility Prompted Ground Stop For Arriving Flights At LAX
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Heavy fog and low visibility Wednesday morning prompted a ground stop for arriving flights at Los Angeles International Airport.
The ground stop was issued around 7:45 a.m. and lifted around 9:30 a.m., according to LAX officials.
At least two flights that were diverted to Ontario International Airport were allowed to return to LAX.
