STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Film Producer Dan Lin and his son Miles Lin visited the KCAL9 studios Wednesday to talk about their project, I Dream of Fish.

Miles, 9, gained a passion for fish when he was only 3 years old and he wanted to use fish to help the world.  He started I Dream of Fish, a non-profit organization dedicated to solving world hunger one fish at a time.

Miles teaches aquaponics and sustainable fish farming that helps provide fish and vegetables for hungry children while teaching them about local farming and gardening practices.

A screening of the new “Lego Movie” will be held on Feb. 2 at the Vista Theater in Los Feliz to benefit the charity.

Tickets are $50 and include one seat to this event, free popcorn, a soda, and a mystery Lego mini-figure (for kids only). Tickets must be purchased by Jan. 26.
