WEST HILLS (CBSLA.com) — A wind-fueled fire charred a home in the San Fernando Valley Tuesday.

The fire was reported at 11:21 a.m. in the 8400 block of Hillary Driver in West Hills, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

More than 100 firefighters were assigned to the blaze, which threatened nearby homes.

No injuries were reported.

It was unclear what sparked the fire. A damage estimate was not available.
