You Can Date George Clooney For $10 -- No Kidding

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — How much would you pay to date George Clooney?

The Oscar-winning actor --  for charity -- is raffling off a chance to date him for a night. For just $10.

Yup. $10 bucks. At a movie, that's less than the cost of a large bucket of popcorn and a medium Diet Coke.

The movie hunk and former People Magazine Sexiest Man Alive wants fans to donate $10 to his Satellite Sentinel Project, an organization he co-founded.

The money raised goes to help war-ravaged Sudan, long a Clooney concern.

Entries for the date contest start at $10. Five entries are $8 a piece and 10 entries cost $7 a piece and so on. You might not win a date, but there are other prizes up for grabs including t-shirts and signed "Monuments" memorabilia.

The raffle winner will go on a date with Clooney on February 4. What does date night consist of?  You and a friend (like you want a chaperone!?) will rub elbows with Clooney, ——attend the taping of "Late Night with David Letterman" and then off to the red carpet premiere of Clooney's new film "Monuments Men." (Co-stars include Matt Damon, Bill Murray, Cate Blanchett and John Goodman.) Clooney is even paying airfare and hotel.

What? No dinner!?
