4 Missing Mountain Bikers Found After Night In San Gabriel Mountains

ALTADENA (CBSLA.com) — Four mountain bikers missing in the Angeles National Forest overnight were found Monday morning.

The four men, who are cousins between 28 and 38 years old, left for their ride on Mt. Wilson at 10 a.m. Sunday, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.

When they failed to return to their vehicles by 3 p.m., family members contacted authorities.

About two dozen searchers combed the area between Mt. Wilson and the Windsor Turnout overnight as temperatures dropped to the mid 40s.

Searchers found the cousins, from Glendale, North Hollywood, Rialto and Sunland, 8:45 a.m. Monday.

No injuries were reported.
