GARDEN GROVE ( — Authorities say one person was wounded in an officer-involved shooting in Garden Grove.

Police responded to the 11100 block of Palmwood around 12:09 p.m. Friday following a report of a burglary in progress. Upon arriving on scene, officers confronted two suspects, one of which was shot by an officer.

That individual was taken to an area hospital in unknown condition.

The second suspect was apprehended without incident, according to Garden Grove police.

No officers were hurt.

Authorities said the Orange County District Attorney’s office was expected to investigate.

No further information was available.
