Girl, 1, Airlifted To Children's Hospital After Near Drowning

CANOGA PARK (CBSLA.com)  — A baby was airlifted to a local hospital Thursday morning after nearly drowning in a pool, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

The accident was reported around 10 a.m. at a home in the 8800 block of Capistrano Avenue in Canoga Park, Brian Humphrey of the LAFD said.

The 1-year-olf girl was airlifted to Children's Hospital in serious condition.

Details surrounding the near drowning were not released.
