LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Skipping Black Friday and shopping entirely online?

KNX 1070’s Megan Goldsby has tips on how to keep your personal information safe — while scoring the best deals.

Goldsby also spoke with consumer advocate Jon Fox with the California Public Interest Research Group (CALPIRG) about other ways shoppers can protect their personal data.

Fox also explains why it is a good idea to never put items in your cart until you are ready to buy.
