BRENTWOOD (CBSLA.com) — A water main break left more than 30 residents without water Wednesday in the Brentwood area.

The 12-inch main broke around 12:30 a.m. near the intersection of Mayfield and Barrington avenues, the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power said.

About 35 residents were affected.

The water main break did not force the closure of any area streets.

No damage to any buildings were reported.
