"KNX On Your Corner" Showcases West Hollywood

WEST HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) – "KNX On Your Corner," KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO's award-winning series profiling Southern California communities, is taking an in-depth look at West Hollywood on Friday, December 13 from 5am – 7pm.

Southern California's only all-news station will examine WeHo's economy, key issues, vibrant club scene and distinctive landmarks. Mayor Abbe Land will be among the civic leaders scheduled to appear throughout the special day of programming.

The public is invited to join in the day's activities when KNX brings its broadcast operations to The Abbey Food & Bar®,a popular restaurant located in the heart of West Hollywood at 692 N. Robertson Boulevard. Free refreshments and food specials will be offered during the broadcast.

The Abbey Food & Bar® will also serve as a drop-off point for KNX's annual holiday toy drive in conjunction with CBS 2 and KCAL 9, "CHiPs For Kids." New, unwrapped toys will be accepted for distribution by the California Highway Patrol to less fortunate children in the area.

Dick Helton and Vicky Moore will anchor the live broadcast from 5:00 – 9:00am, Frank Mottek will host the KNX Business Hour from 1:00 – 2:00pm and Chris Sedens and Diane Thompson will anchor the news from 2:00 – 7:00pm.
