Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Nov. 19)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — The cool week continues.

Temperatures will run four to six degrees below average through Thursday.

Prepare for a healthy dose of clouds to move through the area today.  That will make it a mostly cloudy day .with some sun pokes from time to time.

By tomorrow, a wave of energy moves through and that will give us a slight chance at scattered shower.  The best chance for anything will be the foothills in the San Gabriel Valley and the San Fernando Valley.  But nothing more than a trace of rain.

Then on Thursday, a cut-off low will drop over the area.  The models are having a very tough time with this system.

Early runs had a lot of moisture, while some of the most recent models have it drying out a bunch.  I am going with the drier look.  So that means we can expect a chance for some light rain on Thursday, Friday, and even early Saturday, but throughout the whole event, nothing more than a tenth of an inch.

We will dry out later on Saturday and we could even see some wind advisories as the low finally moves east.

Basin - upper 60s

Beaches - mid 60s

Valleys - upper 60s

Mountains - low 50s

Deserts - mid 60s
