USC Fans Injured After Storming Coliseum Field Following Trojan Victory

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com/AP) — Several fans were recovering Sunday morning from injuries sustained following the Trojans' 20-17 upset victory over Stanford.

A total of ten people were treated for non-life threatening injuries, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokeswoman Katherine Main.

Main says five were hurt during the Saturday evening game and five more after the game.

The most severe injury was a possible ankle fracture, sustained by a 20-year-old man.

Of the others injured, one person had a blood pressure concern and a third suffered an issue related to diabetes.

Thousands of fans flooded onto the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum field after the Trojans upset the Cardinal on a last-minute field goal.
