Suspect Sketch Released In Brutal Beating Of Elderly Couple During Home Invasion

SAN BERNARDINO (CBSLA.com) — Sheriff's officials Tuesday were seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted for brutally beating an elderly couple during a home invasion in January.

Lorna Gable, 84, and her 95-year-old husband were attacked in the early morning hours of Jan. 19 after they woke up to find a burglar in their home.

Her husband was released after being hospitalized for a short time, but Gable succumbed to her injuries and died Feb. 15.

The case is now being investigated as a murder, detectives said.
