LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton was honored Friday in Beverly Hills for her humanitarian contributions.

KCAL9 Political Reporter Dave Bryan said the award ceremony, attended by many of Hollywood’s movers and shakers, was lovely.

But everyone wanted to know the answer to the big question — is Clinton making a White House bid for 2016? Is she here planting seeds?

Bryan spoke to Dreamworks CEO Jeffrey Katenzberg, who sang Clinton’s praises.

“I think she’s a remarkable lady and a great leader,” Katzenberg said.

Bryan said that Clinton seemed to “have a lot of friends here.”

“She’s earned it,” Katzenberg replied.

Before the event, KNX 1070’s Megan Goldsby reported the former first lady and U.S senator was to be joined by daughter Chelsea. The duo planned to team up with Hollywood executives in an effort to push two Clinton Foundation goals.

Clinton received the Global Champion Award at the International Medical Corps’ 2013 Annual Awards Celebration, an organization that has delivered $1.5 billion in health care services and training to those victims of natural disaster, conflict, famine and disease in more than 70 nations since 1984. The ceremony was held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel.

According to a statement, Clinton was honored “for her profound dedication to advancing human dignity, particularly for women and children.”

On Saturday, she will receive the Hermandad Award from the Mexican American Leadership Initiative of the U.S.-Mexico Foundation at a brunch at USC.

The trip — which is Clinton’s fourth of the year and second in two weeks to Los Angeles — will also include a meeting with TV executives on how Hollywood can use the small screen to promote volunteerism to Americans.

The mother-daughter duo will meet with high-profile Hollywood figures — including “Modern Family” show runner Steven Levitan and Fox Entertainment Chairman Kevin Reilly — for the panel discussion, which will be moderated by filmmaker Rob Reiner, a longtime Clinton supporter.

Clinton was last in Southern California for a fundraiser in Beverly Hills on Oct. 30 in support of Terry McAuliffe, who was elected governor of Virginia Tuesday.

So, is Hillary running?

Bryan spoke to California Sen. Barbara Boxer who asked if she had any insight. Boxer told Bryan, “She tells me, ‘I’m thinking about it Barbara.’ And I say to her, ‘Well, think!'”
