DuBois held the position of Executive Director of the White House Office of Faith-based and Neighborhood Partnerships during President Obama’s first term.

He prepared messages for the president to read first thing every morning — short snippets of scripture, inspirational stories, quotes, and prayers to provide counsel, encouragement, and inspiration.

DuBois has a new book, The President’s Devotional, a collection of the best of these messages, meant to offer encouragement and daily inspiration for an entire year.
