3rd Annual 'Stars in Adoption' To Honor Kids, Adoptive Parents

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Actor Peter King and William A. Bedrossian, the executive director of Olive Crest, appeared on KCAL9 News on Sunday morning to discuss the 3rd annual "Stars in Adoption" awards.

The event at the California Science Center on Nov. 7, is expected to honor children, adoptive parents, and individuals who have been shown to be exemplary advocates for adoption.

CBS2 Meteorologist Kaj Goldberg will co-host the event, which aims to raise funds for the non-profit organization, Olive Crest.

Since its inception, the organization has provided a wide range of services for at-risk youth, including foster and adoption services.

The event begins at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $250 per person.
