Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Oct. 29)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — This system is playing out just as we forecast.

There is a lot of wind and cold air, but not a lot of moisture.  Most stations reporting a trace to .10".

The low will gradually move out of Southern California as the day progresses.  It will be another blustery start to your Tuesday.  There will also still be some leftover showers in the flat lands and snow showers above 4500'.

Later in the afternoon we will see clearing skies.  Winds will be an issue through the morning hours.

The rest of the week actually mellows out.  We are looking at warmer weather by Friday when an off-shore flow kicks in.  Temps will return to the 80s.

Another trough late next weekend will bring temperatures down again.

Basin - mid 60s

Beaches - mid 60s

Valleys - mid to upper 60s

Mountains -low 40s

Deserts - low 60s
