Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Oct. 28)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Get ready for a blustery start to the work week.

We are looking at an upper level low moving into the area.  This will translate into gusty winds and temperatures that are way below average.

Wind advisories have been posted through the day.

There is a chance for scattered light showers through the the day and into the night.  Everyone has a chance for a shower, but the totals should be very light, less than a .10".

Mountains could see 1" to 3" of snow above 6000'.

The low moves through by early Tuesday morning and we will have some gradual clearing later Tuesday.  Temperatures will remain on the cold side.

Expect the weather to mellow out through the rest of the week.  Temperatures will warm just a little bit for the end of the week.
