HUNTINGTON BEACH (CBSLA.com) — A 22-year-old man seen covered in blood was arrested after another man was found fatally stabbed in Huntington Beach, police said Thursday.

A person reported seeing a man around 11 a.m. walking near Nashville Avenue and Delaware Street covered in blood. Rito Tejeda of Santa Ana was detained and later arrested after evidence lead officers to an apartment in the 1400 block of Delaware, they found the body of a man who had been stabbed to death.

Tejeda was booked into the Huntington Police Department Jail.

The name of the victim was not released.
