Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Oct. 21)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — We will continue with the mild weather this work week.

The dominating ridge of high pressure remains over the Pacific and Pacific Northwest.  This will keep our inland temperatures slightly above average.

There is a weak disturbance that is going to undercut the ridge today through Wednesday.  This will translate into a little marine layer at the coast and along the coastal plain.

As we saw on Saturday and Sunday, there will be dense fog along the coast. In Orange County there is dense fog advisory this morning.

Temperatures will remain consistent through this work week with minor fluctuations.

We are still watching a cut off low that is brewing and will develop by next weekend.  However, this system does not look like it will bring any rain.  It is too early for details on that system though.

Basin - mid 70s

Beaches - upper 60s

Valleys - low 80s

Mountains - low 60s

Deserts - low 80s
