2 Teen Boys Arrested For Sexual Assault At Eastvale High School

EASTVALE (CBSLA.com) — Two teenage boys have been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault, which reportedly took place on a high school campus, the Riverside County Sheriff's Department said.

Roosevelt High School administrators were notified of the incident on Monday.

A campus police officer then located the student victim and learned the alleged attack occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 25, according to authorities.

"The investigation led to the arrest of two juvenile males who were subsequently booked into the Riverside County Juvenile Detention Center for multiple felony sexual assault-related charges," Sgt. Mike Manning said in a statement.

One male suspect, who students say is a junior on the school's football team, was arrested on campus. The other suspect was taken into custody off school grounds.

The juvenile suspects' names were not released due to their age.

Investigators say that the alleged sexual assault was an isolated incident.

Anyone with additional information regarding this incident is encouraged to contact Investigator Pabelico at the Jurupa Valley Station (951)955-2600.
