Wife Of Ex-Lead Guitarist For Third Eye Blind Held For Allegedly Kidnapping Daughter

SAN DIEGO (AP) — The wife of an ex-member of the rock band Third Eye Blind has been arrested after she was accused of kidnapping her own daughter who is at the center of a custody dispute in Nevada.

U-T San Diego reports 36-year-old Kristi Fredianelli of San Diego appeared in court Friday after being taken into custody on a fugitive warrant. She is being held without bail and plans to fight extradition to Nevada.

Fredianelli faces a felony kidnapping charge in Nevada where there's been a custody dispute over her 6-year-old daughter. A court there awarded sole custody to the girl's father, Sebastian Martinez. The child has been placed with Nevada child protective services.

Fredianelli is the wife of Tony Fredianelli, the former lead guitarist for Third Eye Blind.
