LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — A 70-year-old man who escaped from a state prison in Chino 36 years ago was arrested in Arkansas, the Federal Bureau of Investigation reported.

Michael Ray Morrow, who was serving time in 1977 for a Long Beach armed robbery, was taken into custody at his Jessieville, Ark., home.

The FBI, along with the Los Angeles Police Department’s Fugitive Task Force, found out he was going by the name Carl Frank Wilson.

Morrow is now awaiting extradition to California.
