FONTANA (CBSLA.com) — A Fontana elementary school was placed on lockdown Monday as deputies investigated a report of a possible armed man on campus.

Sheriff’s officials responded to Beech Avenue Elementary School, 9206 Beech Ave., after receiving a call at 10:04 a.m.

The school was locked down as authorities searched the campus.

No suspect was located and the lockdown was lifted around 10:50 a.m.
